I write non-fiction, specializing in memoir, essays, humor, and commentary. I began writing this blog in 2011 and since then I have published over 175 stories and short essays on a wide range of subjects.
My most recent book is Meanderings and Mullings (2017), with details easily accessible on Amazon and other online book sellers. ) Earlier I published Cold Turkey at Nine: The Memoir of a Problem Child. Both books are available in ebook, paperback, and hardcover forms from your favorite local book retailer, Amazon, and numerous other online booksellers. See link at:
I spent much of my career writing for dozens of academic publications, including journal articles and research reports. My academic positions were at the University of Georgia, Ohio State University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I retired as professor emeritus after finishing my academic career as a department head at Nebraska. I had Problem Child traits; some lasted, even into my academic career in higher education.
I hope you enjoy this blog. If you wish, join the conversation.
